Long-read carousel
A dense long-form carousel on grained paper whose body text flows onto as many pages as it needs, in Chinese or English at 3:4, 4:5 or 9:16.
A carousel for an essay, an op-ed or a news explainer that needs real paragraphs. Pale grey, white and charcoal paper scans, near-black tight sans-serif, left-aligned body text, a black tag in the corner and the brand at the foot; weight and white space carry the hierarchy. Eight page designs: two openings (photo cover, text cover), four middles (headline with body, continuation, image with body, pull quote) and two closings (dark quote, source and call to action). Body text that does not fit continues on its own onto continuation pages; covers, quotes and closings never flow and must be shortened instead.
